Enzo Bonafe

When we talk about one of the most skilled shoemakers in Italy, Enzo Bonafe should certainly not be missing in the top five. Enzo Bonafe is a family owned business and is founded in 1963. Their factory is located in Bologna, where they make the shoes almost entirely by hand. In summer 2020 we met this shoemaker during our trip to Italy and had a tour of their factory. They were very happy with our arrival, as we were the first customers to visit in Covid-19 time. We were very impressed because they made almost every process completely by hand. Also worth mentioning; almost all of the employees (often related to each other) have worked there for a decade or more. Combining the best leathers with skilled artisans results in the fact that each footwear is unique and superior in quality.

Collection

Our collection includes jodhpur boots, oxfords, button boots and loafers. We will expand the collection and MTO (made to order) is also possible. We apply a MTO fee of 15%. Is your size not available or out of stock? Please contact us for a made to order possibility!

In the past this brand was available at Meyers in the P.C. Hooftstraat. However they closed the shop after 85 years (they worked only with the best brands). Nowadays, we are proud that we are the only official dealer of this brand in the Netherlands!
