Luciano Barbera

The roots of Luciano Barbera go back to Carlo Barbera, who founded the wool mill Lanificio Carlo Barbera in Biella, in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. The mill (started around 1949) built a reputation for very high‑quality fabrics. Over time, Luciano Barbera (Carlo’s son) moved into Ready to Wear luxury menswear – suits, jackets, coats, knitwear etc. The brand Luciano Barbera was founded in 1971.

The production is still located in Biella, where the textile tradition is among the most prestigious in Italy. They are producing from superior fabrics, with high standards of tailoring and finishing. The fact that they have a history in fine wool mills, makes them apart from most luxury brands. Luciano Barbera does not have mass production, nor do they have big logos. They are rather focusing on proportion, colors, cut and materials. Therefore they are synonym for quiet luxury.

Our fall winter collection includes some (shearling lined) coats, jackets, vests, cardigans and jeans made from the best materials. Below an impression.
